Wright had a tremendous senior year, finishing with 192 carries for 1,681 yards and 27 touchdowns. He has very impressive vision, showing the patience to let his blocks set up and bursting through the running lane as soon as it opens. Once he gets to the second level, Wright shows very good contact balance, bouncing off defenders without breaking stride. He also has shown the ability to make cuts in the open field to make defenders miss. Wright also has impressive breakaway speed which he uses to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Tanner also caught seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown this season. Wright hasn’t reported any official offers but he has received interest from multiple college programs and definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Wright played a key role in Southwestern’s deep playoff run, carrying the ball 66 times for 488 yards and nine touchdowns. One thing that sets him apart is his tremendous vision as a ball carrier. Wright has the patience to let his blocks set up but then hits the running lane when a sense of urgency when it opens up. Once he hits the open field, Wright has the strength and contact balance to break tackles without breaking stride along with the elusiveness to make defenders miss and the speed to run away from the defense. Wright doesn’t currently hold any offers but he has received a decent amount of college interest and definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

He finished with a strong final regular season, carrying the ball 126 times for 1,193 yards and 18 touchdowns. Wright has very good vision, showing the ability to find the running lane and hit it quickly. Once he hits the open field, Wright has the elusiveness to make defenders miss and contact balance to bounce off defenders without breaking stride. He also has the pure speed to run away from the defense. Wright also caught six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown this season. Tanner doesn’t currently hold any official offers but he has received a ton of college interest and definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

The senior running back put on quite a show this past Friday, carrying the ball 25 times for 217 yards and three touchdowns. He did a great job of running downhill and bursting through the running lane as soon as it opened up. Wright showed tremendous strength, keeping his legs churning through contact to break tackles. Once he hit the open field, Wright showed the speed to run away from the defense. While he shined the brightest on offense, Wright also played some defensive back, recording one tackle and one pass break up on Friday. Tanner doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be getting more attention from college coaches as he has the potential to be a very good player at the next level.
