Morgan plays with really good fundamentals. His hand placement, consistency in mainting and finishing blocks stand out on tape. Morgan plays with a mauling attitude, always moving his feet, looking for work at the second level and finishing guys to the ground. As Morgan continues to add strength and get bigger his game will only continue to develop for New Haven.

Morgan has some really solid positional versatility and can play guard and tackle. However, his best skills translate in pass protection meaning that tackle could be his likely home at the next level. Morgan does a really good job of using footwork to create leverage and win off the snap. With no false steps Morgan does a good job of getting engaged with defenders quickly. Morgan does a solid job of blocking both in space or while moving laterally. Overall, Morgan could use a little more power and finishing to his blocks in the run game. With that being said, Morgan is still controlling his engagements with defenders and with a little more power could be finishing them with consistency.

Morgan is really strong had has a really solid motor where he can push guys for yards down the field with ease. Morgan does a good job of finding defenders in space and has had great success being utilized as a pulling lead blocker. Morgan has the power and strength to block bigger defensive tackles but has the athleticism to really contain speed rushers around the edge. Overall Morgan has become one of the best well rounded blockers in this class.
