Back for Woodward-Granger as they make the move from 1A to 2A this fall, Talan Fuson Talan Fuson Talan Fuson 5'11" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Woodward-Granger | 2026 State IA led the attack through the air and on the ground for the Hawks last fall. Nearly in rarified air in 2024, Fuson was almost part of the small group of players that ran and passed for over 1,000 yards. All-in-all, Fuson completed 117 passes for 1,856 yards and 24 touchdowns to go with 127 carries for 902 yards and 13 scores.

Seeing what Fuson is capable of on film contextualizes the stats even more. A technically sound passer that can get some air under the ball and a runner that shows great balance to stay on his feet despite taking hits, Fuson may be one of the more underrecruited quarterbacks/athletes in Iowa.
