“ Takaree Slaughter Takaree Slaughter 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Spain Park | 2026 State AL  is an every-down threat at the LB position who is especially dominant against the run. Slaughter is quick to read and react to offenses, finds ways to slip around blockers, and quickly closes in on the ball carrier to wrap up and create stops for little to no gain. He’s very instinctual and does a great job locating and attacking the ball every snap, it’s really hard for offenses to run the ball against him and the rest of this defense.

Against the pass, Slaughter is just as productive. He creates a ton of problems in the backfield as a blitzer, consistently finding ways to quickly get to the quarterback and rack up pressures/sacks. On top of that, Slaughter has the ball skills out in coverage to come up with some impressive pass breakups as well.“

Slaughter was terrific against Gardendale, racking up 10 total tackles (7 solo, 2 for loss)
