Tae Martin Tae Martin 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB/ATH Reeltown | 2025 State AL has been incredibly reliable for Reeltown both on offense and defense over the last few seasons, and man has it been impressive to watch. Martin has been highly productive at WR/S, constantly making plays out in the secondary on both sides of the ball. Martin is extremely quick on his feet- he runs great routes, gains a ton of separation, and finds ways to make huge plays downfield both on the ground, in the air, and on defense. Martin is extremely talented with his hands- he can secure some really tough-to-catch passes all around the field, and also is a ballhawk out in coverage at DB, constantly coming away with PBUs and interceptions. Martin put up some unreal stats throughout his senior year last fall, recording 55 carries for 560 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground, 39 receptions for 996 yards and 17 touchdowns in the air, and 102 total tackles (80 solo, 7.5 for loss), 8 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries on defense. Martin is a physical DB who plays with a ton of speed, quickness, and instincts out in the secondary- Martin always finds himself near the ball, has great hands, and can make game-changing plays in an instant. Martin impresses me the most out in coverage- he matches up well with a wide variety of WR types and can make plays equally well in man and zone. All of this showed up on tape this season, Martin ended the year with 102 total tackles (80 solo, 7.5 for loss), 8 interceptions, and three fumble recoveries. Martin is a really talented player with a ton of potential as a playmaker on both sides of the ball- coaches, be sure to watch him, you don’t want to miss out on a player like this!
