moves from No. 31 out of 200 prospects to No. 45 while remaining one of the highest ranked defensive backs in Pennsylvania’s 2028 class. At 6’2, 180 pounds, the Simon Gratz standout already owns offers from Akron and Delaware State. I have no issue calling him a Top 5 defensive back in the state at this stage. His long term ceiling and floor remain fluid because the recruiting picture is still developing. Personally, I believe Power Four programs should be evaluating him as either a corner or safety. I will get plenty of opportunities to see him this fall, which should provide even more clarity. Lacourt still has every chance to climb these rankings if recruiting continues moving forward.

– From a raw talent perspective, LaCourt has an insanely high ceiling and is a really impressive looking prospect. He was one of the first kids that caught my eye for the 215 Extreme 13U squad at AYF Nationals
– When I last wrote about him in October, I listed him as an ATH (athlete) because I wasn’t totally sold on where he would end up. After watching at AYF Nationals, I stand firm that ATH is the best position to list him at. He can play wide receiver, or bump inside and to be used as an athletic tight end. Defensively, he can be very disruptive as a defensive end, at times.
– With a 6-foot-2, 165-pound build frame it’s no surprise he has his pick of high school’s to choose from in the greater Philadelphia area. As of this write-up, he is down to: Imhotep, Roman Catholic, Neumann-Goretti and West Catholic

– Lacourt is an eighth-grade prospect that has future star written all over him and his 6-foot-2, 165-pound (unofficial) frame
– Passes the eye test right away and backs it up with his ability on the field at multiple positions including wide receiver, running back, corner, safety and even some outside linebacker
– A long-strider, he’s the epitome of the ATH (athlete) position because projecting where he plays in the future is up in the air. With his size and skill set, he was even taking direct snaps as a quarterback earlier this season
– Playing for the BIG 215 Extreme 13U squad out of the Philadelphia area during the regular season and should have his pick of high school’s to choose from, when it comes to the next four years
