Lincoln Southeast’s Syllas Daniels Syllas Daniels 6'1" | 205 lbs | LB Lincoln Southeast | 2027 State NE is an interesting up-and-coming prospect who gave us several flashes of his upside last season. Syllas ended his junior season with 36 tackles, a TFL, and a sack playing linebacker. Syllas has a strong, compact build at 6’1″ and 200 pounds with the strength to overpower blockers when he bullrushes them at the line of scrimmage. He played both inside and outside linebacker for the Knights, and I can see him excelling at either position. On the outside, he can use his speed off the ball and twitchiness at the line to get a clean break on opposing ball carriers. When moved to the inside, Daniels is able to effectively fill his gaps with the closing speed to meet them at/behind the line of scrimmage to minimize any gains. Syllas is a solid tackler when he gets to the ball carrier, using both power and sound technique to ensure the stop. Rising player with all the tools to take over as a senior!
