About Stafford

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a presence on the field. I have length, strength, and athleticism, all of which make me a natural fit at tackle but have been successful at guard and center. I own the edge and protect the quarterback’s blindside with tenacity. 0 sacks and 0 pressures in two years of starting varsity. I move defenders consistently in the run game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to have fun and spend time with friends and family. I am a natural leader and like to be at the center of things. When it comes time to work on the football field, in the weight room, on the wrestling mat, or in the basketball gym, I push myself hard and expect the same from others. I flip the switch when I step on that field and punish opponents.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Scholar Athlete – A Honor Roll, 4.35 GPA. Beta Club, 2 years. Class officer 2024. I am active in my church and am a member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My size and personality have always been an influence on others. I have become a leader on and off the field. I welcome this role and find satisfaction in helping bring out the best in myself and others. I am an offensive lineman so I naturally depend on teamwork and value it. I have high expectations of others and hold myself to the same standard.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family and I were displaced from our home for a few years, due to a tornado. We lived in a camper and then a rental house during COVID, because of it. This disrupted our family but in all we are stronger for it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to compete with the very best on the field and get a solid degree in my field of study, Computer Information Systems.

Willis is just as productive in pass protection- with his size, strength, and quickness, he matches up really well against DE/DTs and is terrific at mitigating pressure, consistently providing a clean pocket for his QB to work with every passing down.“

Since our last update, Willis has added offers from UCONN, UCLA, USF, Oklahoma State, and more!

Willis has been dominating the offseason, and it makes sense why. When you watch his film it’s easy to see a collegiate-level player. I’m excited to see his senior season next fall.
