Notes: One of the top young talents in California for the 2029 class, the Garces Memorial product is starting to see his stock rise and will be pulling in P4 offers soon. He has a rare combination of size and fluidity in space and moves extremely well for his size with a strong punch and violent hands at the POA on both sides of the ball. Technically sound for his age and passing the eye test, he is a key name to note in the class across the camp circuit this spring.
Lefotu made a strong case for MVP as well with good footwork during the individual drills and a lot of wins during the 1-on-1 period. He was one of the best linemen at getting his arms extended on defenders and he replaces his hands well when the defender parries his hands. His initial punch was one of the strongest at the camp and it’s easy to see why he is one of the highest-ranked offensive linemen in the state.
Lefotu was named a MaxPreps freshman All-American last week after a stellar season for Garces Memorial.
He’s very big for a freshman at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds. Lefotu leverages his weight decently well and is very good with his hands. He can move guys back with his initial punch alone and drives his feet through contact. His pad level could improve he has the frame college coaches love.
Big-bodied offensive lineman with an imposing 6’5”, 320 lb. frame. Shows good natural strength and power, allowing him to create movement at the line of scrimmage in the run game. Displays active hand usage to engage, control, and sustain blocks through the whistle. Areas for continued development include pad level and leverage, as he can play tall at times and get into a high hat, limiting his power and balance. Still, he owns a strong foundational skill set with size, strength, and tools that provide a solid base to build on as he continues to develop.
