announced his commitment to Fresno State on Tuesday.
Campbell was a top performer at the National Preps Showcase last spring and has earned a ton of postseason honors the last few years.
He also had offers from Oregon State, UTSA, San Diego State and UNLV among others. Campbell is the fourth player from California in Fresno State’s 2027 recruiting class and the second offensive lineman.

The Frontier product is one of the top ’27 center prospects we have in California and he is a strong and powerful interior guy that wins with leverage and punch at the POA. He moves well for his size and is extremely athletic both in the box and in space when blocking at the second level and has excelled at multiple camps and combines this off-season against top talent. Currently, he holds offers from SDSU, Fresno State and Sac State and should see others come in after his Junior season.

Campbell was one of the more impressive athletes of the group and stood out during the one-on-one period. He had one of the strongest initial punches and nobody was really able to bullrush him. His feet were quick enough to get in front of the speed rushers and he replaces his hands very well. Sacramento State offered him recently and he has a ton of upside.

Campbell is a high upside D1 center prospect at 6’3” 280 lbs. that earned his first offer from Sacramento State in March. Tons of natural strength and power in his frame that transitions well from the weight room to the football field. Skillset combines that strength with his technique and athleticism to dominate the LOS and execute different blocks effectively. Flashes plus initial quickness in his feet and hands to go from the snap to block engagement. Creates movement and opens up running lanes using heavy strikes and good leg drive through contact. Shows he can move his feet with good bend and work to the second level efficiently. Was a top performer at the National Preps Showcase this past weekend and will continue to rise up 2027 recruiting boards and rankings.

Campbell is one of the strongest prospects across the central valley heading into the 2025 season, and is very athletic for his size and holds his weight well at 6’2+. He has a shorter stature and projects as a center in college, and is a heavy striker with tremendous technique and violence at the POA. He is a natural bender in and out of his stance, gets underneath blockers and can create immediate vertical push and block out in space with the proper angles/footwork. Campbell was impressive in both the individual drills and dominant in the one on one’s at the National Preps camp last month against elite competition, and should see college interest continuing to come his way.

Another day of talking about top 2027 prospects, another day of talking about a player on the OG Ducks roster for this upcoming season. While we don’t have a verified size on him, there are pictures on social media with him next to fellow 2027 Offensive Line prospect LJ Riley, who is a verified 6-foot-4, and Campbell looks to have an inch on him. No matter how you slice it, there is a major size on the OG Ducks squad this year and Campbell is certainly near the top. I full expect Campbell to be a two-way starter on the interior line on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he’s a big strong kid who can play either Guard or Center at an extremely high level. Once he gets his hands on a Defensive Linemen it’s all but over. Defensively he’s certainly a two-gap Defensive Tackle who can make it very difficult to run against. If he doesn’t he make the tackle, in the very least he can tie up Offensive Linemen, which allow his Linebackers to scrape and make a play. His strength and size are unquestioned, but it’s his sudden bursts of athleticism that make him a special kind of prospect.
