Heading back down to the PSAL, we reveal Sincere Hester Sincere Hester 6'2" | 230 lbs | DL Eagle Academy II | 2027 State NY as our fourth ranked Defensive Lineman in the 2027 Class. The Eagle Academy II prospect, stands at 6’2″ 260-Pounds, and while displaying an elite build for a Defensive Lineman, he also has one of the coolest names in NY Football.

Hester is a player who can move across the defense, and play as a LB or a Defensive Lineman. His speed is outstanding, and he is the last person you want to see running towards you. He displays an elite IQ, paired with good strength, and an elite pass rushing tool bag. The PSAL should be on notice with Hester on the defensive side of the ball for Eagle Academy.

Standing at 6’2″ 230-Pounds, Hester displays an outstanding build for a defensive lineman. Hester will enter his second season with Canarsie after transferring from Holy Cross prior to his Sophomore season.

Given his frame he adds some versatile value to the defensive side of the ball as he can line up inside and as a DE. If DT is his choice adding 15-20 pounds of good weight would help. On tape, he displays raw block shedding ability with good tackling. He finishes plays and can run around the field to make tackles.

Hester is one of two Canarsie D-Line prospects featured in this article, making there defensive a threat in the PSAL.

Hester who also spent time on the Holy Cross varsity squad last season and also moves to Canarsie for this upcoming year, played on the interior at defensive tackle and at 6’2 240, has the size to play there in HS but will continue to get bigger from what you see on film he will add some good weight throughout high school.

Hester is still a raw prospect; on film, you see the ability to shed blocks well and is always hand-fighting for better positioning to get off blocks. Hester could probably develop into an interior defensive lineman at the next level if he gets big enough, he looks to have the frame that can hit at least 260 but I think with how quick his hands are and what he shows on tape there is also some defensive end 5-tech potential in his future.
