has already done so. Equipped with fine tape, Fuse has had the call with Akron, Miami of Ohio, and Rutgers sealing his Power Five status with the BIG10 offer. Fuse is stamped as one of the best interior defenders, both against the run and pass, the class of 2025 has to provide. You can say no one stands as a bigger threat to the trenches outside of St. Joseph’s Prep’s

Semaj has explosive burst out of his stance. He displayed excellent body control and had violent hands during one-on-ones. He’s incredibly nimble, effortlessly changing directions with FBS-level foot speed while going through DL drills. He’s another prospect whose measurements aren’t fabricated; he stands at 6’3″ and weighs 250 lbs. I’m eagerly anticipating how Fuse performs this season with added bulk and explosiveness. The FBS prospect currently holds offers from Rutgers and Akron.

Semaj is going to grow into an athletic 3-technique. He’s explosive off the ball and has good hand violence, keeping offensive lineman away from his body frame. The strength and speed in his get off allow him to make TFL‘s consistently. His physicality mixed with his motor and redirecting skills pursuing the ball make him a problem on the interior Dline. He’s physically intimidating and causes big collisions when he hits someone. Right now he’s 6’3 250 and he’s sure to add good bulk between now and when it’s time to go to college. His natural attributes are also adequate for center and OG on the next level. He currently has 3 D1 offers from Rutgers, Miami Oh and Akron, but I think other MAC programs and local bluebloods Pitt, WVU & PSU should take notice.

Mathis gets all the attention in the class of 2025 and rightfully so but Fuse (as well as our other three top-five defensive linemen) are promising and emerging talents as well. Fuse is a powerful interior defensive tackle who also has a great first step and explosiveness. Already at 6-foot-3 and 250-pounds, it’s easy to project Fuse at 6-foot-4, 6-foot-5, and 300+ pounds. He just won’t be a space eater, however, his explosiveness and athleticism project well to being a three-tech defensive tackle in the future.
