Focusing back on Jersey’s post-grad circuit, Sean Currie Sean Currie 6'7" | 235 lbs | TE/EDGE Lawrenceville School | 2027 State NJ is a tight end out of The Lawrenceville School that has tremendous upside and does many things well. On tape it is clear that this big-bodied target is very difficult to wrap up and take down to the ground. Part of it is his size, yes; however, a lot of it has to do with raw strength, running style, and heart. His lower half seems particularly strong as Currie has routinely carries defenders draped low on him. Knowing how to use his size, Currie boxes out defenders and wins jump balls with ease, mostly using his hands to catch it. In an impressive manner, the junior tight end’s film features him being utilized in all three levels of the passing game. This is likely due to the fact that he moves well, especially well when 8-or-more yards down field.

The only place you might find a pass catcher taller than Sean Currie Sean Currie 6'7" | 235 lbs | TE/EDGE Lawrenceville School | 2027 State NJ is on a basketball court. Currie is a 6’7″ target who is extremely difficult to bring down to the ground. A powerful lower half allows him to carry multiple defenders who are draped on him. Currie might have spent some time on the hardwood too, as we see him box out and high point the ball. It seems that the deeper his route his, the better he moves. I liked that Currie’s tape showcased him in all three levels of the passing game too.
