The biggest jump in the entire article comes to us from State Champion Sam Schraufnagel Sam Schraufnagel 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Lomira | 2025 State WI . We saw the senior line up at LB and also DL this season. I love the relentless attack that you see from Sam in the trenches. While he has more of an LB size/frame the senior wins with hand use, quickness, and a physicality needed to disengage and defeat blocks. Sam is quick to attack downhill and has the body control to make the sudden lateral cuts to avoid a blocker or to position himself so he only has to defeat half a man on his way into the backfield. The senior’s motor seems to be running at 100 mph every snap. A team needs to swoop in and get this steal.
