About Sam

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I pride myself and my gameplay on being a physical defender who can set the edge as well as drop into coverage and be an all around disciplined player on and off the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong work ethic in not just sports, but life in general. I always do things with a purpose.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Business Club, OneLove Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a team captain. I also do community service through my school a lot.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced much adversity with sports when I was younger. I've been overlooked my whole life and I always prove and will work to prove that I am where I should be.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a strong academic presence, as well as a college that is very competitive on the athletic side.

Sam is an athletic good frame LB who shined all day throughout testing, drill work and 1v1s during the National Preps Showcase. Measuring in at 6’3″ 220lbs while running a 4.9 laser 40 with an 8’11” SBJ, he checked a lot of boxes. Sam very fluid and went through LB drills effortlessly. He has good COD with quick hips that allows him to close quickly on plays. Sam showcased that repeatedly in 1v1s. He was able to break on passes for PBUs and was athletic to stay step for step with RB/TEs. Sam was easily a stand out prospect during the camp and with his high GPA he should be getting plenty of looks from high academic FCS/D3 schools.
