Knell was a big time player for the Knights championship run and the senior just picked up and offer from Eastern Oregon. A do it all type of defensive back with the ability to really cover and tackle.

Knell is one of the more active third level defenders across Idaho, and can play by himself out on a island and cover receivers downfield. He has strong ball skills and recovery speed if beat downfield, and flashes good eyes in zone coverage, baiting quarterbacks into bad throws over the middle and on the outside. Knell also shows that he can help in run support and is an excellent blitzer from his corner spot, bringing a nice thump at the POA and closing quickly with open field range and explosion.

Knell is another good looking in prospects coming from the football factory that is Bishop Kelly. Knell showed smooth hip in and out of his transitions at DB during the camp and was a force to be reckoned with in man to man coverage. He showed the ability to really mirror receivers in their route and with a quick break he was able to get to the majority of football thrown his way. We really liked how he competed matching himself up against some of the top player at the camp and constantly won those battles. We think big things are going to happen for Knell this season and he could really turn out to be a major bright spot of the Knights this year.
