One of the top sleeper defenders across the state in the 2028 class, Lumpkin absolutely lived in the backfield last season as a sophomore, consistently making big plays behind the line of scrimmage. The 6-foot-0 190-pounder from Dallas, Georgia lit up the stat sheet on a weekly basis, making 80 total tackles, 26.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. He’s smart, shows natural instincts, and does a good job of fighting off blocks and attacking down-hill. He’s one of the region’s top-returning defenders who could easily see some offers come his way in the spring and summer. Look for Lumpkin to see a boost in the next 2028 Prep Redzone update.
