One of the best players in Class A this season was Summers County ATH
Ryan Oliveros

who had a monster junior season for the Bobcats with big-time production. Oliveros did it all as a junior totaling 1,170 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns along with nearly 500 rushing yards and 6 more scores. He finished the season with just under 2,000 all-purpose yards as a junior along with starting on defense as a DB. Oliveros may eventually move to WR in our rankings but with how versatile he is as an athlete he’ll be ranked as an ATH for now. While he may not be facing the highest level of competition there is in the state, his athleticism and playmaking ability translate to any level of football, and he would make plays for bigger schools too. Summers County will move up a class to the new Class AA and if Oliveros maintains this level of production against stiffer competition he may see his name rise in our rankings.

. You can plug and play him at multiple positions but his play at receiver has been the most impressive thus far. Oliveros has brought in 29 receptions for 545 yards and 4 touchdowns in five games which is an 18.8 yards per catch average and 109 yards per game. However, Oliveros isn’t done there as Summers County also likes to get him the ball in the running game. He’s rushed for 309 yards on 24 carries for another five touchdowns while also being one of the better DBs in Class A too. Oliveros has 992 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns through the first five games of the season.

is a standout receiver and defensive back for the Summers County Bobcats. Oliveros earned Class A Honorable Mention All-State as a sophomore in 2022 and will be one of Class A’s premier athletes for the next two seasons. The 5’9 165 Oliveros makes plays all over the field on both sides of the ball and is also a very good special teams player. He can lock down one side of the field at corner or make big plays at receiver. Oliveros is also a very good tackler in space and in the open field. His speed and playmaking ability make him dangerous wherever he lines up but Oliveros also showed he has sure hands at receiver and is not just a speed guy. I think his ceiling is very high at DB and that’s where he’ll likely play at the next level if he chooses to play football because Oliveros is also a good basketball player. Keep an eye on this 2025 Bobcat for the next two seasons in Class A.
