He is a red zone threat because of his size, but he also catches the ball with ease. Mascari is equally as impressive when blocking. He locks his hands on defensive ends or approaching outside linebackers at the first level and drives them backwards with force. When working to the second level, Mascari takes smart angles towards inside linebackers and uses his body to out leverage them. Heading into his junior season, Mascari is flying up recruiting boards across the country.
