Ryan Hazlett
Ryan Hazlett
About Ryan
Expert Analysis
Avery Hawkins | Prep Redzone Scout
Ryan has been active this season despite Keystone Oaks’ 1–2 record in 2023. The senior DE is 6’3, 250 lbs and has a knack for getting pressure on the QB. So far this season, Hazlet has put up solid numbers with 5.5 Sacks, 7 TFLs, and 16 tackles. Ryan has a quick get-off and knows how to use his hands to get rid of the OT. At 250 pounds, he’s strong and big enough to utilize Bullrushes, spin moves, violent rips, and also bend underneath the OT’s outstretched arms when providing pressure.

possesses the desirable physique that will help him provide reps all over both sides of the trenches. Explosive off the line, enough to win reps off the edge despite his heavier set build. That same beef helps him win when kicked inside to IDL. Hazlett displays a great blend of strength and interior quickness to help him serve as one of the better junior defensive linemen in his conference. His reps along the offensive line are equally impressive. I project him to the defensive side of the football strictly because of the attitude and tone he sets on that side of the field. The kid could have a future at OL as well. Could have a top-300 ceiling.
