Excited to see a lesser-known Hawk earn MVP. I recently found Ivan Bailey-Greene Ivan Bailey-Greene 5'10" | 245 lbs | DL St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA ‘s tape and instantly ranked him inside the top 250 of his class. That’s an early grade that could grow into a future Division One grade. Here’s what Carl Frederick had to say about Bailey-Greene.
“The rising junior was virtually unblock able during the 1 on 1 sessions, lining up at Defensive tackle and end. Green has an explosive first step off the ball and a relentless motor who was a matchup nightmare all evening for the offensive lineman.”
I didn’t get the opportunity to watch Jayzen Flint Jayzen Flint 6'4" | 230 lbs | DL West Catholic | 2024 State PA too much which was disappointing. Yet I was told that Flint still impressed Carl Frederick. Flint might’ve been the best prospect at the event, at least in rank. Here’s a Frederick excerpt.
“Maybe the tallest kid at the showcase, standing at 6’4, Flint certainly has the upside to play at the next level. The rising junior also stood out for his performances flashing his speed in the 40 and the 1 on 1 drills.”
Two juniors ranked inside the top 400 have instantly raised their stocks. Those two prospects being Jake Biery Jake Biery 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Northampton Area | 2024 State PA out of Northampton HS and Ryan Hazlett Ryan Hazlett 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Keystone Oaks | 2024 State PA out of Keystone Oaks. Seeing them work and hearing the high praise from Carl Frederick will have them boosted on our lists next update.
“Biery had himself an excellent evening, standing out in both the individual and team drills. A big powerful pass rusher, Biery is a very instinctive smart football player and you can see it also reflects in his school work.”
“One of the strongest lineman there certainly was incredibly disruptive to his opposing offensive lineman all night. Hazlett is another bull rusher type who stands out on the field for his blocker awareness as well.”

Cameron Kiersch Cameron Kiersch 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Danville Area | 2025 State PA continues to build momentum. His stock continues to elevate, something we reflected after the most recent 2025 rankings update. Happy to see him win LB MVP courtesy of Dylan Callaghan-Croley. Each time I see Kiersch in person, his mold/frame continues to trend in the right direction.
“The junior linebacker possesses quality athleticism and should be able to improve on that end as well once he gets to a college campus. Kiersch has three-down linebacker potential, he shows a strong ability to play downhill against the run but can also play coverage against tight ends if needed.”
Was told that Pond was very close to winning MVP for his positional group, something I would have loved to see happen. Gavin Pond Gavin Pond 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Conwell Egan Catholic | 2024 State PA ends up a top performer nonetheless. Worth noting how impressive the LB/ATH moved in Shuttle drills. Pond registered a 4.19 Shuttle, earning the best time of any prospect at the event.
“Pond is a linebacker that we are increasingly high on. He’s got a combination of great size and athleticism. He ran a 4.74 forty-yard dash one of the highest of all our linebackers and recorded a broad jump of 9.4 in the process. On the field, that athleticism translates well, and is an all-around linebacker.”
Zander Coleman Zander Coleman 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Hazleton | 2024 State PA and Nicanor Andrada Jr. both earned top-performer honors out of Dylan Callaghan-Croley. Both are unranked prospects who have earned a future ranking based on their performances in this camp alone. Coleman boasts a desirable frame, Andrada’s motor is his calling card. Here’s what DCC had to say.
“A nice-sized linebacker with the potential to add more size. Quality athleticism, fluid hips, and solid agility is how you would best describe Coleman as a player. On the field, he shows a high football IQ and has great read-and-react skills that allow him to be a factor in each and every play.”
“He’s a smart, physical linebacker who shows quick read-and-react skillsets. Strong against the run and has the athleticism to be play in pass coverage as well.”

Highly impressed with Ben Jones Ben Jones 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Stroudsburg | 2023 State PA out of Stroudsburg HS. Always love to see a senior make the most of his opportunities. Ben Jones Ben Jones 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Stroudsburg | 2023 State PA had the most impressive three-hour showing from any defensive back present at the camp. Jones will more than likely represent DB as a top tester as well. Great size, willing to get physical. Here’s what my eval said about him, the ones I gave out to the coaches present.
“Five games under his belt this past Fall. A frequent camper that I’m fond of. 6’1 corner. Love his attitude at the position, could be a sleeper to be a Top Performing DB. Outside-the-numbers corner who plays butt-to-the-sideline. Kicked inside to slot occasionally, playing outside-breaking routes well displaying real closing speed. Hard worker who should impress tonight.”
The next three 1st-Team defensive back representatives are all out of the Philadelphia Catholic League. On top of that, Simaj Hill Simaj Hill 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB St. Joseph's Prep | 2026 State PA , Justus Gaskin Justus Gaskin 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA , and Dymere Durham Dymere Durham 5'11" | ATH Northeast | 2025 State PA are all underclassmen to boot. Simaj Hill Simaj Hill 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB St. Joseph's Prep | 2026 State PA looked great in Indi’s. Smooth transitioner, and an awesome build that caught my eye immediately. Justus Gaskin Justus Gaskin 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA might not have the ideal size at DB, yet he still performed well in one-on-ones. Nothing impresses me more than a slight corner who isn’t deterred by physicality or taller wideouts.
Dymere Durham Dymere Durham 5'11" | ATH Northeast | 2025 State PA might’ve taken the top spot for most impressive 1-on-1 defensive back. Technically sound. Great hands in pretty much every rep. Shoots his hands well at the LOS, you won’t release off the line without feeling his presence. Handsy and annoying at the catch point too. Durham can get under your skin. Not the first time I’ve seen him work at this level.
