is a flat-out “lunch pail” player who just shows up and produces from wherever he’s lined up. Ryan is being looked at as a defensive prospect who can play on the defensive line or linebacker after racking up 73 tackles, 13 TFLs, two sacks, five fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. However, he did really surprise us with a solid 292 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 58 carries on offense. Given Ryan’s versatility, I still think his highest ceiling is on defense, where he mostly played defensive end last season, but I could see him move to an inside LB role or even as a 3-4 OLB. Boehle performs many of his duties very well, including holding the edge against the run, before using his violent hands to disengage and continue his pursuit. He is strong enough to collapse pockets with his powerful bull rush, using his leverage and powerful base to drive blockers off the line. Offensively, Ryan plays like a runaway truck that can plow through the heart of a defense, taking defenders down as he does so. His mean streak as a blocker also opened the door for him to be recruited as an H-back type of play. Sleeper prospect ready to shine!

The season may not be going the way the Islanders have hoped for, but there have still been several bright spots on the roster, including junior

. Ryan is a player I have projected as a linebacker at the next level, but he is currently playing on the defensive line and has found ways to make plays with a team-leading 49 tackles, 8 TFLs, two sacks, five fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble. Whether Boehle continues on the DL at the next level is unknown, but I do think his experience at defensive end will pay dividends eventually. He is showing that he can hold the edge by stacking blockers at the line of scrimmage before ripping away to pursue the ball. He’s quite the force at the point of contact when tackling and is a pretty secure tackler when he meets backs in the hole. Boehle keeps his hands very active to work through blocks and has a good motor to stay in pursuit of the ball carrier. Interesting prospect who should gain attention sooner rather than later!

is one of five new additions to the rankings. After a second look over some of his tape, it was clear that Ryan deserves a spot on the list. Although he didn’t see varsity time as a freshman, his size and athleticism project him as a prospect to watch. Standing at 6’2″ and 215 pounds, Ryan has a strong, sturdy frame with good speed that allows him to cover a good chunk of field and close on the ball quickly. He opened some eyes with a few of his heavy-hitting tackles on tape. His athleticism and explosiveness also translate to the offensive side of the ball, where he flowed through defenses as the freshman team RB. Versatile athlete with several seasons to continue fine-tuning his craft!

is a player who should emerge as one of the top prospects out of the Tri-Cities in the upcoming years. Boehle looks like a throwback linebacker who plays with a tough, physical mindset. One thing that popped out right away was Ryan’s football IQ. It seemed like Ryan was constantly communicating on defense and calling out what he saw from the offense. He has a quick trigger when he keys on the run and is tireless in his pursuit. Ryan also had some nice plays in coverage, displaying quick instincts and fluid hips to get in position to make a play. Boehle flows to the ball very well and can disengage from blocks with his strength and violent hands. Very good, secure tackler. Ryan is another player gaining interest from college programs with a recent gameday visit to Nebraska. Keep close eyes on this guy!

Ryan is a big linebacker who has proven to be elite in both football and wrestling. As a wrestler, Ryan has stacked up an impressive 46-6 record with a staggering 41 pins to his name. Ryan translates his experience as a wrestler over to being a physical linebacker who knows how to bring people down. Overall, with him being one of the nastier ball players that I have seen, I wouldn’t be surprised to see his stock rise in both football and wrestling throughout his high school career.

(pronounced Bailey) is a Cornhusker to know about in both sports. Standing at (unverified) 6-foot and 200 pounds, all he did this past wrestling season was go 40-4 with an astounding 36 pins
-Football film of him is non-existent from what I’ve gathered. With that said, if you look at any of my writeups, I always talk about how wrestling translates directly to football–specifically for Offensive Linemen, interior Defensive Linemen and Linebackers. His wrestling clips are wild. He’s quick, explosive and strong at the point of attack–all terms used to describe top Linebackers
-Will be off to Grand Island High School in the fall, where he’ll join a program where the Islanders have gone 39-17 over the last five seasons and finished ranked No.22 in the 2022 season
