About Russell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a physical player who bring passion and energy to every play I am on the field. I also am smart by picking up on tendencies pre snap to disrupt plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitive and hard working player. My goal every day is to get 1% better and be the hardest worker in the room.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been a part of leadership at my high school for 2 years as well as a 2 year captain for football and 3 years of varsity baseball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a player who is willing to do whatever it takes for my team to succeed. I embrace my role every snap as well as build up my teammates to be sucessful.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was faced with a high ankle sprain during week 3 of my junior season. I had to overcome that pain and play through it the rest of the year to give my team the best chance to compete each game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a division 1 FBS/FCS or a division 2 school is who is looking for a player to come bring energy and effort every day and give everything I have to be the best I can be.
