Roy made a name for himself last year with the Wildcats, and he put together another impressive season in 2025. He’s an EDGE at the next level, but he does play some rush tackle for Newark. He’s got a great first step and has fluid movement. He utilizes his swim move inside well and can get into the backfield quickly. Off the edge, he uses his athleticism and hand placement to win regularly. He’s disciplined as a contain, and can use his length to wrap up. Roy was a no-brainer for this list.

The talented Wildcats pass rusher has had a busy last month of offers coming his way. When you turn on the film it’s easy to see why the college coaches are so interested. Price has a great get off length and bend to win the edge and get home to the quarterback. In the run game he sets a strong edge.

In 2024 Price picked up his first D1 offer from Miami (OH). In the last month Roy has added offers from Akron, Toledo, Kent State, Ohio, and Eastern Michigan. He has the room to continue to grow and fill out. If he continues to do that and get stronger it won’t be long before the P4 offers begin to come as well.

Roy played very well as a Sophomore in 2024. His great play helped the Newark Wildcats to a 7-win season. He plays as a DT. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and uses his very good athleticism to defeat the attempted block from the OG. He plays with a great motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he displays very good football intelligence as he quickly reads the play and locates the ball carrier. He plays with good leverage as he delivers a big hit near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage.

Price is a talented edge rusher for the Wildcats, who can win both by speed and power. He’s a fluid stand up rusher who has a solid get-off and finishes with the speed to win the edge. He also has a nice bull rush where he long arm’s well and drives the blocker backwards into the back field. He does a good job of reading, shedding, and pursuing once he wins at the point of attack. While Roy clearly projects to the defensive end at the next level, he has the strength and versatile to slide down and put his hand in the dirt on the inside showing an ability to anchor and use his strength to win even as a freshman facing older more experience player. If Price can continue to add good weight and strength, he’s one who could rise up the rankings quickly.
