Smith picked up his first pair of offers from Southern Utah and Utah Tech in September. Centennial’s senior defensive tackle came into this season as one of the top unoffered front-seven defenders after putting together a breakout junior season with 55 total tackles (30 solo), 6 sacks, and 15 TFLs. He’s continued to put his name on the radar this season with the strength, power, and athleticism he brings to the defensive front. Smith leads the Bulldogs’ defense with 37 tackles, 3 sacks, and 6 TFLs in five games this season.

Smith was a riser in this latest rankings release after being named a new addition in December 2024’s update. The 6’2″/260 DL out of Centennial has continued to ascend this offseason with some notable performances at recent offseason events. Shows good quickness off the ball and possesses the hands, power, and agility to get off blocks in a hurry when attacking the backfield. Produced a highly productive junior season with 57 tackles, 6 sacks, and 15 TFLs in the fall. Smith should start to see his interest level rise over the coming months as one of the top DL prospects in Nevada’s junior class.

Smith was one of the most productive DTs in the state this season with 57 tackles, 6 sacks and 15 TFLs. Powerful athlete at 6’2″/260 that can explode into the backfield to create negative plays. Makes effective use of strong hands as a block-shedder and can plug interior lanes with his ability to get off blocks. Shoots his hands through would-be blockers and shows his lateral mobility beating slower moving Cs and OGs. Smith established himself as one of the top interior run defenders to keep an eye on moving forward.
