About Robert

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am more of a pocket passer/field general style quarterback. I focus on accuracy in my passes and making the correct reads for each play. I take what the defense gives me, although a one-one deep pass keeps the defense on their heels. I can evade defenders in the pocket and throw off-schedule and still be accurate. I like to think of myself as an analytical quarterback.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a quarterback, I believe it is imperative to not be too energetic and emotional on the field, as the team follows your lead and your emotions affect them. Staying level-headed whether you are being blown out or the game is tied in the 4th is very important. Although not energetic, I am still vocal and communicative with my teammates. Off the field, I always strive to be the hardest worker.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a great leader, a skill that I have learned from my experiences playing football and coaching. My leadership as a player has developed rapidly since 2025, gaining more confidence in spring workouts and with a quarterback battle upcoming in the program. As a volunteer coach in youth flag football, I have learned the difficulty in being a coach and the strong leadership that is needed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 7th grade, it was my first season as a QB in tackle football. I was the starter week 1, and I had difficulty with under-center snaps and fumbled a multitude of time in the game. After that game, I was never given another opportunity to play quarterback again in middle school. This experience taught me the importance of possession in football, but also how to respond to a difficult situation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can not only grow as a player, but as a football mind on and off the field. My passion and hope is to become a college coach, so a school (regardless of location) that will help me reach that point through coaches and through opportunities to make connections with people in the college football world.

He has no film from last season, so he is still learning the quarterback position. His mechanics are solid, but could use some work (this will come with time). Overall, he throws a good ball with the proper arm angle. Throwing the ball over the top allows him to throw a good ball. Bohinick is a young guy, but he flashed some good skills.

The question is how he performs against a talented group of quarterbacks. Regardless of how he does, this will be a good opportunity for him to get good coaching from College Coaches and to perform against a talented group of quarterbacks.
