Darren Hovington Darren Hovington 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB/DB Unionville | 2028 State PA was one of the best running backs at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He showed an excellent burst and quickness. He did a good job of making defenders miss. He also caught the ball well. Hovington did an excellent job during one-on-one competitions. He showed his versatility as a running back. He can play slot receiver and running back because of his pass-catching ability. Hovington is a promising prospect who played well throughout the day.

Darren Hovington Darren Hovington 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB/DB Unionville | 2028 State PA had a productive camp as he was selected as 3rd team running back. Hovington is a good athlete who moves well. He is especially fluid in the way he runs routes and catches the ball in space. He has the potential to be a slot receiver and a running back next season. I love seeing him in space, where he can catch the ball and make defenders miss. Hovington should be a stock riser and move up the rankings as well.

Darren Hovington Darren Hovington 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB/DB Unionville | 2028 State PA is an explosive athlete for Unionville. He did not play a lot on offense, but you see the talent as a running back. He made his impact on special teams, though. He is a dynamic returner who excels at making people miss. He is exceptional in the open field, as he possesses a unique ability to evade defenders. Couple that with his speed, and you’ve got a complete package as an athlete. Hovington also shows good skills as a cornerback. Hovington is a good athlete on both sides of the ball.

He played Junior Varsity last year and he did a nice job of returning kicks for big plays and running the ball from the running back position. He has excellent speed, and he is hard to tackle in the open field. Hovington has a chance to do well at the showcase and show how talented he is as a player.
