Sewell is a handful in the trenches, he has an explosive get off at the snap, he uses his extended reach to deliver a stiff blow at engagement and he has the speed to blow by blockers when he rushes the passer. He has a high motor and plays with relentless effort and this allowed him to win reps in the 1v1 against some stiff competition in the trenches. In 2023, Sewell was a First Team All-District performer for Lewisville, showing his versatility as a hybrid defender who can rush off the edge, be stout against the run and drop in coverage when he lines up at linebacker and still be a disruptive force. Sewell has offers from Southeastern Oklahoma State and Houston Christian University.
