He finished with 2 tackles for loss and 7 total tackles, consistently disrupting plays before they could develop. James flashed great size, strength, and natural pass-rush ability, using his length to keep blockers off his frame and his burst to close quickly. With a strong offseason of development, added polish, and continued growth, James has the tools to become a household name and a major problem for opposing offenses moving forward.

James does a little bit of everything for Hunt. He can stand up off the ball and drop into coverage, or he can put his hand in the dirt and rush the passer. Either way, when he lines up, Hunt isn’t far from a big play. His athleticism and short-area quickness really pop on film and I’m excited to see how he develops.
