Expert Analysis

Bryant moves remarkably well for a 6’4″ tackle, and it allows Hunt to be diverse in the running game. He’s asked to reach on blocks most high school tackles can’t get to. It also allows Hunt to run counter whenever it wants, as Bryant is scary when pulling around.

Aarion has the size you like to see in a potential tackle prospect, and on film, there are definitely some things to like. Playing the right tackle spot, which is a traditional power position, Aarion brings some impressive run blocking ability from both zone and power-type blocking schemes on film. His footwork is good, and he moves with some good agility and technique, always keeping his feet moving on contact – something that most younger linemen struggle with. I think he plays a little high at times, but that’s something you can fix through practice and technique. It looks like he plays in a run-heavy scheme, so he’s another player you would like to see in a camp setting to get an overall feel for. But another physical run blocker from Eastern North Carolina deserves some love and some ranking from us!
