is a top prospect in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. (EPC) “Rafs” recruitment really started to pick up this spring. It all started with a Kent State offer back on 2/29. He was later offered by Monmouth (4/14), and Maine. (5/9)
Terrero took an official visit to Kent State from June 7th – 9th. After a “Great Weekend” the #83 ranked prospect in the class committed to the Golden Flashes. Kent State has been hot in Eastern PA. They have landed not just Rafael, but also DJ Kelly (St. Frances Academy / Bethlehem, PA), and

Rafael Terraro is a talented athlete who played as a free safety and as a wide receiver last year for Emmaus. As a free safety, he makes plays all over the field. He is equally as good at providing run support as he is making plays on passes thrown his way. He is a good tackler in the open field. In coverage, he does a good job reading the eyes of the quarterback and then making a play on the ball. As a wide receiver, he shows a good ability to make tough catches in traffic. Terrero is a good prospect in the 2025 class.

—NEWS JAN/FEB
Excited to see this one come through my feed, another hit on my part. Emmaus is loaded with studs, even with some big names leaving the program for next-level opportunities.

received a call from Kent State, with the program extending an offer to the top85 prospect. A great first offer for a 2025 who might be picking up steam a bit later than the some of the prospects listed above. He is still 16, I might add.

- aligns at more than three positions, versatility is calling card
Emmaus never fails to pump out a prospect each year that gets me excited. 50 tackles to his name, 5 interceptions, 30 catches, 350+ yards, 2 scores. Muscular build, cuts on his legs/arms, standing at 6’4 too, this is already a next-level build, one that could even be improved on. Asked to play safety, long stride has him covering ground easily when talking hash-to-hash. Outside lane receiver on offense, one who can absolutely eat in the short game. Have Terrero run hitches, pop screens at the LOS, curls and fades, he’s a wide target with a wide catch radius that is a lock to move the chains if the QB can be protected. Better tracking and range than I expected out of a kid who is pushing 200+ at 6’4. Potential is unlimited. TE could be an option, he’s already an impact blocker at WR, some additional weight, along with his hands, he’d be a shoe-in at TE. OLB capable, pretty sure he has experience inside the box in the past, no hesitation to fill the alley from his safety spot. I’m not positive he’s a pass rusher of course, or if he has the mentality to do so. That being said, his body certainly looks the part of an edge defender. MIKE and JACK LB are possible at this level. A positionless prospect with limitless potential.

are tough kids, I’d argue no player on this piece is tougher at every position he aligns than Terrero. A load to bring down after he catches the ball. You might tackle him as he’s making a catch, if he gets to tuck and run, you might need a second or third kid to come wrap up. Terrero is often called upon to work out of the screen game, the coaches trust him with the football in his hands clearly. Hitches, slants, out-routes were bread and butter last Fall, I wonder if his role and route tree will expand this coming campaign. In order for him to keep this ranking, he’d probably have to play both sides of the ball, or elevate production. Both could happen.

is 49 spots outside of cracking the top 100. A 6’4, physical wideout out of Emmaus that should see an uptick in production with

will retake the reigns at quarterback, with Fotta also moving on. Terrero should stand as the lead wideout, at least from a size perspective. Guzzo and Jones will garner their fair share of looks, yet I imagine Terrero could be a name we are all familiar with after his junior campaign. Might I mention that Terrero could see action at several different alignments/positions. Watch for Terrero to produce at TE or even Safety.
