Hale was the best deep threat at the event and showed excellent body control all day. He was a physical mismatch for a lot of the corners and was bringing down balls in traffic frequently. Jefferson and Hale are very comfortable playing together and will put up huge numbers for Centennial this season.

Hale, a 6-3, 192-pound four-star receiver committed to USC, is a big-bodied target with strong hands and vertical leap, racking up over 800 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. His strengths include winning contested catches, excellent body control on fades, and route savvy that creates spacing in the tree. A recent Centennial transfer, he’s confident and physical after the catch. Weaknesses include occasional drops under pressure and less elite top-end speed, which savvy corners can exploit by undercutting routes. Against Lang, Hale should attack by using his size to box out in press coverage, running vertical stems to force Lang into trail technique, and leveraging his jump-ball prowess on red-zone fades to dominate mismatches.

Hale caught 62 passes for 872 yards with 12 touchdowns last season for Cathedral. 

He chose USC over LSU, Oklahoma and Texas who also had hats on the table at his commitment celebration Friday. Hale is the third player from Southern California in USC’s 2027 recruiting class.

If he commits soon, whichever program lands him is getting a day-one impact guy at the Power 4 level.

Hale caught 62 passes for 872 yards with 12 touchdowns last season for Cathedral. He recently had an excellent showing at the Trillion Boys showcase and announced his top six schools: Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, USC and Oklahoma.

Hale caught 63 passes for 995 yards with 14 touchdowns for Cathedral last season.

He was very good at the Under Armour Next camp and was one of the top receivers at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament.
