Schirmer’s massive offseason sees him continue to rise up rankings and recruiting boards now ranked #54 overall and holding 14 D1 offers, many from high profile programs. 6’5” 250 lbs. he’s got ideal size, length, and growth potential for defensive line. He’s got an athletic build to him with plenty of room to add mass without sacrificing those movement skills. He’s got great initial quickness off the ball with an explosive first step to gain positional leverage before the play develops. He’s violent at the POA with excellent natural strength and power to disengage from blockers and bring heavy contact as a tackler. Despite his size, he bends well in the hips, knees, and ankles allowing him to redirect and chase in pursuit. Expect him to keep pulling in high level offers and climbing the PRZ rankings as he develops.

Schirmer is one of the top players in the entire state in the 2027 class, and has the ideal length and size for the P4 level along the defensive line. He is a still a raw and developing prospect but is extremely powerful and violent at the point of attack and moves well for his size when collapsing the pocket and chasing plays backside. He has natural bend/ankle mobility and is twitchy in the short area while able to win with both speed and power at the POA. Schirmer offers good position versatility at the next level and already has a college ready build as a Sophomore. He holds offers from USC, Colorado State, Arizona, UCLA, Cal and SDSU.
