His success as the man behind center at Aliquippa should give him looks at the D2 level despite his size issues. Currently holds one offer from Waynesburg. His play and tape is certainly worthy of more looks, is witnessed hitting almost every route on tape throughout the years, kid flashes incredible arm talent. Going to be tough for a D2 to take a chance on this kid, at least at QB. Goode moving to DB would likely be a take at the PSAC level, he’d serve as a damn good D3 quarterback out west if anything. What’s a plus, everyone out West knows his name, there won’t be a shortage interest headed his direction.

Quentin Goode Quentin Goode 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA made several throws for Aliquippa in the State Title game. He threw a great touchdown pass to Brandon Banks Brandon Banks 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA when Banks ran a fade pass down the sideline. Goode put a perfect touch on the ball and Banks made the play for the touchdown. Goode should have plenty of opportunities to play at the next level as either a quarterback or an athlete.

Quentin Goode Quentin Goode 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA is the starting quarterback for Aliquippa. He is surrounded by elite talent, but Goode is still one of the key cogs to the Aliquippa team. Without his throwing ability, they wouldnt be able to make as many big plays. Looking at his film I have seen massive improvement from him this season. He has thrown with much more touch on the ball. especially on deep balls. Goode continues to be the point guard and distribute the ball to the playmakers, and this is an important part of the Aliquippa offense.

Quentin Goode Quentin Goode 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA has been Mister Reliable under center for the last couple of seasons. The senior signal caller has a strong arm, and he’s solid at pulling and throwing swiftly on play-action or RPOs. Goode will keep Hickory honest due to his ability to get outside the pocket and run. I’m excited to see Quentin perform after witnessing him play lights out on the 7-on-7 circuit in the offseason.

Aliquippa will more than likely continue to prove doubters wrong, led by a quarterback who is constantly brushing off stigmas of height/size deficiencies at the position. Watch the kid hit oppo hash out routes, watch him target wideouts downfield with accuracy. It’s lazy to diminish and toss aside a prospect like this, Waynesburg certainly hasn’t. The program offered Goode back in April.

Goode’s got some serious game experience under his belt. He’s a real competitor and he knows how to get the job done with efficient passing. He’s got a strong arm, but needs to work on not sailing those deep passes. He’s a true athlete, able to buy some time by scrambling while still keeping his eyes peeled downfield. Plus, he’s solid at pulling and throwing quickly on RPOs and play action. When scrambling, he’s got great accuracy throwing to receivers in motion. And his anticipation skills are smooth and in rhythm. He’s also poised on rollout pass plays. Quentin got those deep crossing routes in the intermediate passing area in his bag as well.

The junior quarterback has looked accurate passing the football. Goode‘s arm appears to have visibly gotten stronger. His placement looked superb on multiple throws, hitting his receivers in stride. Quentin has good footwork in the pocket & throws with good anticipation. The 2024 prospect has gone 87/150 for 1321 yds & 2 TDs this season.

Goode is only a junior but already has substantial game experience. He is competitor & an efficient passer. He has good arm strength, but sometimes he puts to much air on deep balls.  He is an athlete that can buy time scrambling & keeps his eyes downfield. He is good at pulling & throwing quick on RPOs & play action. Goode has good accuracy throwing to WRs on the run. Q is also talented at completing passes with great anticipation. His athletic ability allows him to be dangerous on rollout plays. Quentin is also talented at completing deep crossing routes in the intermediate passing area. 

Quentin Goode Quentin Goode 5'11" | 165 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA barely missed the top 100 cut, placing at 117 and top 10 at his position. We spoke about what Goode brings to the table in a previous post. Take all preconceived notions about size and arm strength and throw them out the window. This kid is 5’11 at best, apparently under 170 pounds, yet can rocket passes 40-45 yards downfield with pressure in his face. Goode’s skillset is ideal for a team that prefers to run the ball with an elite running back. The young man can beat defenses over the top with great arm strength, great downfield accuracy, and great depth perception.
