On our site, Falzone is ranked as an ATH, yet I’ll honor his QB position for this post. He would rank as the third-best QB prospect, much higher if we consider his potential as a Power Four tight end. I’ve had ample opportunities to watch Falzone live. I was also the first among National media to praise him as an FBS player, this after just his sophomore season at Nazareth HS.
Falzone, who committed to Penn State on April 12th, is the second Power Four commit among this crop of PA 2026s. I’ve gone on record stating that this is a Luke Reynolds type of athlete, one who could see a similar role to Warren/Reynolds at Penn State. This isn’t to discredit Falzone’s prowess as a QB, yet I think there will be other plans on Falzone’s plate because of how gifted an athlete he is. Falzone was previously committed to Virginia Tech Football, another program that likes to be creative with their QBs, both from a position and skill set perspective.

. The 2026 prospect was recently committed to Virginia Tech, but opened his recruitment in November. Since then Peyton has picked up offers from Buffalo, West Virginia, Marshall, Rutgers, Utah, and Iowa. Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano took a trip to visit Falzone at school Jan. 23rd. He surprised Falzone by showing up in a helicopter onto the practice field. Peyton is one of the hottest players on the recruiting trail right now. It’ll be fun to continue tracking his recruitment.

is one of the best players in the state let alone the area. Falzone has great arm talent. He throws the deep ball extremely well and shows composure in the pocket. Don’t let him fool you though, because he can take off on the ground. Peyton had multiple 50+ yard runs on the year. The kid has wheels. Peyton was named the conference MVP after putting up nearly 3,000 all-purpose yards and 30+ TD’s. He was originally committed to Virginia Tech, but has since opened his commitment. I’m excited to see what happens with that, but first things first he has another year of HS ball! Excited to watch him dominate in 2025!

is the highest ranked prospect on this list! The Virginia Tech commit comes in as the #3 QB in the state. Peyton is a tremendous athlete out of Nazareth Area. He was named Offensive MVP of the EPC this season. His deep ball accuracy is one of my favorite things about this prospect. He has the ability to put the right amount of touch on the ball to allow his receivers to make plays after the catch. Falzone is also a great runner of the football. Which is something that is very impressive to watch from a 6’5 | 200lb QB. I also want to mention Peyton led Nazareth to a district title as a Sophomore in the 2023 season.
Peyton’s Junior Season Stats:
2136 passing yds
23 passing TD’s
743 Rushing yds
8 rushing TD’s
I am very blessed and thankful to be named East Penn Conference (EPC) First Team Quarterback, East Penn Conference (EPC) Offensive Most Valuable Player, Northampton County First Team Quarterback, and Northampton County Offensive Most Valuable Player. 6’5, 200 pounds. An early identifier by Prep Redzone before he blew up onto the Power Four scene. Ranked as a top-three quarterback prospect among 2026 prospects, would likely elevate further on our ranks once moved to ATH. Falzone is a gifted athlete, one who ran an 11-second 100M at his size. It’s safe to say Virginia Tech will explore and experiment with positions outside of QB as well. 4.0 GPA.
Falzone posted a mid-season tape six days prior to writing. Falzone has the arm capacity to stretch the field 50+ yards, his arm looking as lively as it ever has. Having Nazareth on schedule, you need to be prepared for shots downfield via Falzone to Caleb Newsome Caleb Newsome 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Nazareth | 2026 PA , there’s hardly a limit to the range the duo can stretch vertically. Can legitimately score from anywhere on the field via zone-read keepers, QB draws, or QB sweeps. An unreal strider, a surprisingly good accelerator for his stature. You can witness Falzone out-pace angles set by DBs in the secondary, not too many QBs doing this consistently. Great in impromptu situations because Falzone is likely more athletically gifted than the match up in front of him. There are nuances to the QB position that Falzone needs to clean up if he wants a shot at starting at VA Tech. He tends to escape clean pockets, his footwork leads to accuracy issues at times. There is no perfect QB prospect and even with some glaring issues, I think Falzone is a top 3-5 QB prospect. These are nitpicks that should be stated because Falzone is capable of playing football at the highest of levels. Nonetheless, Falzone manning the spread attack at Nazareth has to leave opposing DCs up at night. A true game-breaking play maker behind center.

is another prospect out of Nazareth Area. The 2026 QB comes in at #7 in our extremely competitive 2026 QB rankings. Falzone is a 6’5 | 200 lb prospect that can make some hard throws look easy. Recently P4 schools have been keying in on him! Let’s breakdown how the rising junior’s recruitment is going thus far!
Peyton picked up his first offer from Kent State on 5/9. From there Bucknell (5/22), Lehigh (5/23), Virginia Tech (6/4), Penn State (6/9), and Syracuse (6/22). Falzone visited V-Tech on 6/21. He then committed to the Hokies on 6/29! This is a huge move for the Nazareth QB, and I’m excited to watch him take over the EPC next season!

is a dynamic athlete who is playing quarterback. He has elite speed and runs well. He also throws a good football. His arm might be one of the strongest in the class. You see his arm strength when he throws deep balls. Falzone has all the tools to play at the next level.
Off-Season Update: Falzone has picked up a ton of steam on the recruiting trail. He currently has offers from Kent State, Bucknell, Lehigh, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse. He just recently picked up that offer from Syracuse. I expect more offers to come his way.

According to MaxPrep’s Falzone completed 172-of-281 (61.2%) of his passes this season for 2,27 yards and 19 touchdowns to four interceptions. Prototypical quarterback size for Falzone at a reported 6-foot-5. Shows quality mechanics though his throwing motion isn’t the smoothest, that is someone who can be worked on going forward. Either way, he gets results while playing quality talent. He shows good arm strength and has a nice touch on the ball. He also is a mobile quarterback who shows the ability to extend plays with his legs on the regular and can move the sticks as well on the ground. Outside the throwing motion, there’s not too much you can’t point to in Falzone’s game that would draw any worries. He’s definitely an impressive quarterback and one that I think could absolutely play at the FCS or FBS level if he continues to develop.

Bit of a shaky start out of Falzone against Nazareth rival Parkland HS. Took a quarter or so before Falzone found his comfort zone, Wimberly and Bendezovits helped alleviate some of the immediate pressure via the run game, Falzone settled in as time progressed. His connection with Newsome was on display, he can get Newsome the ball in stride. A screen-hitch-heavy script, Falzone stepped up and played his part in getting Nazareth back into the football game.
Falzone’s mid-season stat line goes as follows. 64/105, 1,000+ passing yards, 12 total TDs, 0 INTs. I’m known for being hard on QBs, yet Falzone throwing 100+ passes without turning the football over as a passer is incredibly impressive. Falzone has so much room to grow, yet his ability to orchestrate the offense and complete over 63% of his passes is an awesome sign, considering his age. Having Kuehner and Newsome to throw to at all levels of the field makes things easier, shouldn’t take away from the young man’s impressive start to the season. Excited to see the end tape soon.

is a kid who completely flew under my radar last Fall, even some in the offseason. His extensive work at collegiate camps forced his hand in terms of getting on my radar. Falzone getting eyes on from college coaches is 10x more important than eyes from PRZ, yet I now like his tape more than anyone not ranked inside the top 25. Narrowly missing the top 50, Falzone shows off fantastic impromptu abilities when plays break down. He’s a phenomenal athlete with improvisational skills that rival anyone in the state. Natural in the open field, a long stride that catches kids off guard too. Plenty of teardrops dropped in buckets on tape too. Nearly ten minutes of tape as a freshman. He’s got work to do pre-throw as a passer, I can see clunky footwork, a well-drawn-out release, yet this kid has too much potential to not acknowledge. Very excited to see him work this Fall.
