The Scoop: He is The highest-ranking Greenwich prospect and has been for some time now. Currently stands as one of the best prospects in New England class of 2025 without a scholarship offer to his name. After his productive season, we project his college interest will soon increase.
He was ranked as our #11 OL in the class of 2025 within New England before the 2023 season.

The highest-ranking Greenwich prospect has been for some time now. Currently stands as one of the best prospects in New England without a scholarship offer to his name. Thankfully, his tape and grades have him in position to field phone calls at any given moment. Real interest from Coastal Carolina, Army, more G5s should be in on this kid’s talents. Although Greenwich has started their 2023 Fall campaign, I haven’t been able to dig up much of Vomvolakis since last Fall. His interview will be posted below. Like I’ve stated in previous posts, Peter is a 2025 prospect that has plenty of time to win over coaches in terms of recruiting, it really shouldn’t be a huge focus, putting together phenomenal junior tape is 10x more important at this current time. Thankfully, he’s the easiest and most identifiable prospect one of CIAC’s best programs has to offer.

. The underclassman was downright bullying kids left and right in run-blocking sets, proving to be too powerful off the ball. Hell of a start for the future FBS talent. I am excited to see more pass-protection sets in the future, these mauling run-blocking reps will have to suffice for now. Vomvolakis can also provide quality reps at defensive tackle, pairing with Galletta as an interior force is just unfair. Fun young prospect to watch.

is probably the “smallest” prospect in this bunch. Plug on the tape and you’ll find out how equally proficient this young man is in both stopping the run, as well as blocking it. Off the bat, you’d like you’re 6’2-and-under linemen to attempt to play both ways, testing their abilities at DT can only help their recruiting.

exemplifies two-way player. I can make the case that Vomvolakis is the best two-way trench player in his class. Fun tape to watch. Will be fun to watch in collegiate camps this Summer too.
May 2023 – New England’s lone representative on today’s list carried not only an entire state, but an entire region on his back. Vomvolakis stood strong taking spins against both interior d-linemen and edge players. To me this shows he is versatile enough to play an array of positions across the o-line. I witnessed Vomvolakis take strong pass sets, which turned into drive blocks out of the frame if the defender crossed his face. He has powerful feet, which you can actually hear, when he takes his steps forward. These powerful feet allow him to gain ground with ease and also set a pocket with confidence.
