It seems like the senior out of Sturgeon Bay plays every position on the field over the past couple years. In Week 5 the 2025 dominated at the RB position. The natural instincts for the position are impressive. You see him use blocks and also set up defenders. He will press one hole until the defender commits, then cut to an open lane last second. Patrick has solid vision, finding the soft spots to attack. He also has the short area quickness and long speed to make plays in traffic or out in the open field. Patrick also does a great job of always gaining yards. Even when working to get outside he is still getting up field. Don’t sleep on the versatile athlete out of Sturgeon Bay.

and his 783 receiving yards. Patrick actually makes plays from everywhere. He plays defense, WR and also lines up at RB. Patrick dominates with his burst in short areas, as well as his agility. He makes defenders miss, and is able to open up big chunks of separation with his route running. Haese is also a physical runner after the catch. This is an athlete who can do a lot at the next level, and should put up big numbers in multiple categories. Don’t sleep on him.

One of a couple Door County prospects I had notes on from Sunday at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase was Sturgeon Bay 2025

. Signed up as a wide receiver, and stood out significantly as a defensive back as one of our Best of the Best top performers at the end of the session. Patrick showed off well-balanced footwork and although not the biggest DB in Oak Creek, the athletic length of his strides certainly caught these eyes. Patrick was a technician to be reckoned with in Indy Drills as he showed off great ball-tracking ability and was one of the biggest start to finish stockrisers amongst the defensive back group, as Patrick’s instincts were growing swiftly through the day. Patrick certainly looks to have a next-level ceiling on either side of the ball.

Stats: 10 Receptions, 136 Yards, 4 Rushes, 22 YardsrnPatrick is one of the most consistent players this season. Every week he seems to put up huge numbers. So it’s time we dive into the film of the multi-threat athlete. This week Patrick won his battles on offense with twitch, quickness, and loose hips. He was able to run very sharp, clean routes thanks to his ability to change direction and burst out of it. Haese’s balance is key to his success too, allowing him to stay square and drive his feet out of the breaks. Patrick is a natural hands catcher, and he isn’t afraid to play physical after the catch against DBs. Patrick is putting together a strong season for Sturgeon Bay. Make sure to have him on your radars.

Anytime I compile my notepad after a prospect camp, finding my notes where I had some extra emphasis catches my eye as that was the case when I watched Sturgeon Bay’s

on Wednesday. Although not the biggest defensive back (5’8.5, 170) Patrick showed out to me with his testing in the early session, as he not only ran with a massive amount of fluidity in his steps throughout, he also had a noticeable finish in his 40-yard dash showing a handful of great depth that he has on his plate for the future. His tape shows off plenty of elusiveness with his skillsets I would expect out of a prospect at his size as he has good bases with his change of direction when into the open field which is why he popped out to me in Dinkytown on Wednesday night. He showed off that same fluidity I witnessed in testing in his 1v1 reps as although not the biggest DB, he showed off some catchy footwork that I watched that would be appealing at a small school at the next-level. He also plays bigger on tape than his measurables show off, as he has some solid lower body length which adds up why he looks like a DB at the next-level with his position versatility. I like the churn he has with his hips from side to side as there is certainly instinct that will continue to grow with his upside. According to my Wisconsin colleague Mark Johnson this kid has grown his athleticism a ton over the last year or so, as Patrick has intriguing upside in my eyes coming out as a prospect to watch out of one of my favorite vacation spots in Wisconsin in Door County.
