had a monster game rushing the ball for Mt Lebanon from the quarterback position. He rushed it 19 times for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns in a huge win over Hempfield for Mt. Lebanon. Smith is a dynamic player with the ball in his hands. He is also hard to tackle as he has great size (6’3″) and is a strong player as well. Smith is a talented player in the 2026 class.

Patrick Smith is a dynamic athlete who played as a quarterback and linebacker last year for Mt. Lebanon. He is already committed to playing football at the University of Pennsylvania. As a quarterback, he has excellent ability to run and throw the ball. As a runner, he has a dynamic ability to run hard and make defenders miss. He is also a physical runner who is hard to tackle. He also throws an excellent ball. As a linebacker, he has great instincts and attacks downhill at a high level. Smith is a great player who should help Mt. Lebanon be successful this season.

4.3 GPA, a quarterback prospect whose skill set is versatile enough to draw collegiate interest at multiple positions (OLB). Is a captain at Mt. Lebo, participates on the track and the court. A student-athlete in every sense of the word.
Patrick Smith, an ATH ranked inside our Top 150, recently announced he had picked up an offer out of UPenn earlier this month. UPenn is doing a great job identifying juniors they are interested in in-state, with Smith being the third QB prospect UPenn has offered among 2026s. 6’3, 220-pounds, the future is bright for Smith. The UPenn offer just might open up the floodgates. There’s a lot to like.
After a great conversation with @CoachDupont I’m honored to receive an offer from the University of Pennsylvania! @CoachPriore @PennFB @mtlebofootball @BradMaendler pic.twitter.com/kr3uE9atGd

Patrick Smith is a good, physical, and tough football player. His 1st two plays from his film tell the story. In the 1st play, he is in at quarterback and runs with the ball on a designed QB run. He breaks through a ton of tackles to score a touchdown. In the 2nd play, he is playing as a stand-up defensive end, he breaks through the line makes the play in the backfield picks up the ball, and races over 80 yards for a touchdown. Smith is a good athlete that is good on defense. He is a perfect hybrid player that you can play as either a linebacker or a stand-up defensive end. He is athletic enough to play either. As a quarterback, he shows he can throw the ball, but needs to get better in this area. Regardless, he is the type of player every football team would want.

narrowly misses the top ten cut, yet strictly in terms of tape provided after freshman campaigns, Smith is certainly in the top ten, even top five discussions. As you can see,

is still inside the top 100, as his two-way, dual-threat capabilities are too good to ignore. We look at Walter, Sprankle ranked ahead of Smith, you watch all three, and coming to the conclusion that Smith is the better prospect among the three isn’t a far-fetched notion. He’s got an upperclassman build suitable for LB play, blended with playmaking ability on the offensive side of the football. The gap between Smith and Falzone is a lot closer than it might seem. Miniscule, hair-splitting details are what landed him at 11. Expect him to climb if given the keys at Mt. Lebanon.
