Tall and long with a great frame for added weight, McClain has taken another step with his progression this season by putting on more size as well as adding a little more speed to his repertoire. You can see on his early season senior clips that McClain looks more explosive when coming out of his stance. He gets into his routes much quicker while also showing quicker feet when breaking into those routes as well. The Gryphons senior prospect has worked on his pass blocking as it shows on film, giving me the idea that McClain could develop into a multi versed tight end on the next level with continued growth and work on the field. Parker McClain Parker McClain 6'7" | 220 lbs | TE St. George's | 2024 State TN is a long and lanky tight end at 6-foot-7, 215 pounds out of St. George’s High School and shows a good understanding of how to use his size to his advantage. He shows great ball skills to make adjustments below the frame with some good control of his body for a taller prospect. When attacking the seam, he shows solid football intelligence and athleticism attacking defenses. Good run blocking, McClain excels getting to the 2nd level with good technique staying square and is powerful at the point of attack. Overall, good play strength and physical toughness with the ability to finish blocks with aggressiveness.
