Here’s a player who we’re excited to see back on the field healthy after big-time flashes as a junior. Parker Johnson Parker Johnson 6'1" | 220 lbs | EDGE/OL Lincoln East | 2026 State NE only played in five games last season but had a huge impact when on the field, finishing his season with 18 tackles, five TFLs, and five sacks. The biggest part of Parker’s game that stood out was his tireless motor, displaying a tireless pursuit from snap to whistle and a willingness to chase down ball carriers several yards downfield. His quick first step and twitchiness allow him to move like a blur at the line of scrimmage and take advantage of matchups with slower linemen. Good hand placement and powerful base allow him to drive blockers off their spot. Parker shows good lateral agility to keep him moving across the LOS and keep the opposing run game in front of him. We have Parker listed as an EDGE, but he could definitely play defensive end at the next level or even on the OL.
