Junior Parker Douglas Parker Douglas 6'0" | 150 lbs | WR Bennington | 2027 State NE looks primed to step into Bennington’s WR1 this fall after finishing second on the team in receiving yards last season. Parker showed off his dynamic playmaking skills as he hauled in 23 catches for 447 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 19.4 yards per reception. Parker is a well-rounded receiver who is at his best when he can just explode off the ball and take the top off a defense, but he also showed he can work the short and intermediate routes. Parker’s quick twitch and clean footwork allow him to get a clean release at the LOS before firing off downfield with underrated speed. His quickness also makes him a threat on WR screens, where he does a great job taking advantage of having blockers in front of him and can follow them for a big gain. He is a solid route runner who can stem his routes very well and shows sharp change of direction at the breakpoint. Great hands and eye discipline to follow the catch through the process. Solid prospect from a powerhouse program!
