The first thing that jumps off the tape to me is the athleticism. Quite a few of his highlights show him taking designed runs and making the absolute most out of them. Great speed, superb vision and the ability to turn on the jets when get gets in space makes him as dangerous as any QB on the ground. Through the air, he has a quick trigger with good mechanics and arm strength. I absolutely love how he projects as an athlete at the next level, and how perfectly he seems to fit that Forest Hills Northern offense.

Finally, we’ve got Owen Ostipow Owen Ostipow 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB/ATH Forest Hills Northern | 2027 State MI with a handful of great QB highlights.

The first play I’ll mention is 0:26. Owen takes the flea flicker and delivers a very quick strike to the deep crosser. A Muskegon linebacker was coming in hot, so great job getting that ball out as quickly and calmy as possible. Then, 0:37 shows a strike to the middle of the field.

Finally, plays like 5:13 show pretty dang good burst and running ability. I didn’t see it coming, but Owen can really take off when he wants to.

Very good Sophomore season on what was a good Forest Hills Northern team. I hope to see even more improvement next season!
