As we hit the dog days of summer and dead period, it's time to get an evaluation refresh on some quarterbacks I haven't had the chance to talk about recently! Below are some refreshed and updated evaluations on some senior gunslingers.

The first thing that jumps off the tape to me is the athleticism. Quite a few of his highlights show him taking designed runs and making the absolute most out of them. Great speed, superb vision and the ability to turn on the jets when get gets in space makes him as dangerous as any QB on the ground. Through the air, he has a quick trigger with good mechanics and arm strength. I absolutely love how he projects as an athlete at the next level, and how perfectly he seems to fit that Forest Hills Northern offense.

Hudson is an extremely entertaining watch! The dual-threat QB is exceptionally well rounded. On the ground, he has great vision and elite instincts. As a passer, he thrives at layering passes and putting the ball on the money in tight windows. He makes quick decisions and delivers the ball with great velocity. He orchestrates that St. Joe offense masterfully and has a case for one of the most underrated players in this class!

East Kentwood hit the jackpot with Colin! Everything that I have seen from this kid on film is impressive. His game is built around his unreal ability to scramble, buy time, keep his eyes downfield and hurt defenses as soon as they lose track of someone. He has great vision and scans the field no matter how much pressure he gets, and has the arm to sling it downfield quickly. On straight drop backs, he has a quick trigger and good base that allows him to absolutely rip it. I was already incredibly high on East Kentwood this fall, and this addition makes me even more pumped!

If you're looking for a distributor, this is the guy. No throw is really off limits for Burke. Deep balls down the sidelines, timing routes, short slants and more, he can hit them all. When necessary, he can buy time by moving in the pocket and still staying consistent under fire. Blake is an absolute gamer that has been a big piece of the puzzle as Okemos continues to build their program, and I am super excited to see what he can do this fall with good experience under his belt.

Make no mistake about it, Cole can absolutely sling it! So many of his highlights show great touch and accuracy on deep balls 20 or more yards downfield. He also has the ability to pick up extra yardage with his feet as well, making him that much more dangerous. He has great pocket presence and moves well while staying balanced and keeping a strong base. I'll be looking forward to seeing his film after a few weeks and seeing how much he has grown as a QB over the offseason.
