Daufeldt is working hard to improve his testing numbers and, in conjunction with that, improve his on-field production, which is saying something for an all-district receiver in 2024. He recently reported running a 4.58-second 40-yard dash, 245 max on bench, a 405 squat and 245 three times on the clean. Daufeldt’s junior highlight video illustrates how he puts the training to use. He’s often playing with greater tempo than his opponent. Daufeldt can get deep but also operates well underneath, where he makes people miss in space. He’s comfortable lining up around the formation, and is a willing and able blocker.
