Production was not an issue for Wainwright as a West Liberty junior in 2025. He piled up 72.0 tackles, 55 of which were solo stops. Wainwright racked up 3.5 tackles for loss, forced a pair of fumbles and intercepted a pass. He caught two passes for 13 yards, including a TD, and even returned a couple of kicks. His 11th-grade highlight video reveals a middle linebacker that leads with physicality. Wainwright runs well, which allows him to flow quickly to the football in stopping the run and stick with receivers in coverage. His long arms also aid him in making tackles. His frame still has plenty of room to fill out without the loss of speed or agility.
