Dale closes quickly and shows body control in his 1v1, open-field tackling ability, and he does a good job of disengaging, sifting through traffic, and locating the football, sometimes before a play can even really develop. He’s a hammer at the contact point and displays great hand usage when shedding blocks and disengaging from blocking attempts around the LOS. Once he gets his hands and pads on a ball carrier there is no chance they are earning any extra yardage post-contact either.
