Zander is a defensive back that I recall watching over the winter at the North Dakota Grind 7v7 tryouts and was one that I feel took another step forward as far as his stock rising as one of the top-tier defensive backs at the Minnesota-Morris Prospect Camp. He was one defensive back that I feel played above his measurables as I was impressed with the range he could cover for his measurables. He’s one that shows off the instincts you want to see at the cornerback position which translates with the suddenness of his change of direction he showed off on a consistent basis last Saturday in Morris. He’s one that I am surprised hasn’t picked up his first offer yet.

A new name out of Minnesota on my 2027 Outstate radar yesterday in Fargo was Zander Opsahl Zander Opsahl 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB/WR Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton | 2027 MN out of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton. He flashed as one of the defensive backs that caught my attention from the jump with his intriguing footwork that showed off fluidity and a quick release out of his brakes to the ball. Another skillset that drew my attention to Zander, was just how locked in he was from a focus perspective on every rep as a 2027 prospect that I felt was great with the attention to detail in the reps I watched and got better from start to finish of the 18U tryout.
