About Noah
Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Wallis is an incredibly versatile player with the frame of a linebacker and range of a DB. He’s got great instincts and reaction speed. He’s downhill in a flash and can get off blocks easily. He’s good in the open field making the tackle when he’s the last line of defense. He’ll try and rip the ball out on the way down. He’s good near the line and creates pressure and can get after the QB. With 85 total tackles, 10 TFLs, 5 sacks, 4 PBUs, 2 forced fumbles, 1 interception, and 1 blocked it’s easy to see why Miami (OH) has already offered him.

does not have the prototypical 6-foot-2, 220-pound frame that college coaches look for in linebacker, but what he lacks in size (for now) he makes up for with a relentless pursuit to the ball and ability to deliver big hits on ballcarriers and quarterbacks. Wallis has an outstanding motor, takes great pursuit angles and can wrap up nicely in space. Very instinctive and twitchy linebacker with high upside.

Very good mover in space and very instinctive, flows to the ball and wraps up on contact. Has a good frame with room to grow and add bulk with good arm length. Flashes first-step quickness as a pass rusher, an area he can grow in and add more value.
