About Noah
Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Merriweather has been a notable name since his freshman year and someone who has consistently shown out on the camp/showcase scene. This offseason has been no different. He is on the smaller side, but his suddenness and explosiveness make up for it. His low center of gravity helps him stay on his feet, and makes him a chore to bring down once he gets rolling. Merriweather is a bowling ball back who has done a good job building some buzz for himself.

Noah took center stage at the Prep Redzone Combine in Atlanta by running one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of the entire event. Running a 4.43 this speed demon demonstrated a quick first step off the line and explosive bursts downfield, making him a potential game-changer. As a running back, Noah can cover more ground in less time, and his top-tier speed will make him a lethal threat on both sides of the ball. Noah’s performance at the combine solidified his status as a rising star with an exciting future ahead.

PR 100M Time: 10.64 (April 2024)
Merriweather is one of the more unique players on this list. He is a stockier 5’7 that runs with a low center of gravity and can stay on his feet through contact. However, it’s his speed and explosiveness that forms the most intrigue around him. He is light lightning in a bottle, playing in fast forward when compared to his competition. He not only can get the ball in space and out angle defenses to the sidelines, but he is capable of searching for gaps and using his feet to position himself in the correct running lanes. He already claims an offer from Arkansas and he will continue to generate FBS attention thanks to his elite speed and athleticism.

The kid nicknamed “Blur” came returned to the Future Stars Game event this year with offers from Nebraska and Arkansas State–he’s leaving with offers from those two, plus UAB and Arkansas, after receiving them thsi week. He’s still a smaller back at just 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, but there’s no denying his speed and quickness. Hides behind his linemen well and sets up blocks, before quickly getting vertical.

is an X factor with offers from Arkansas St. and Nebraska (head coach just came from the NFL). To say Merriweather is explosive is an understatement. This athlete is a threat to take it the distance every time he touches the rock. He is a modern offensive coordinators favorite toy and a defensive coordinators nightmare. Line him up anywhere on the field and you better have him accounted for. With the wave of RPO (run/pass option) schemes at every level, Merriweather can blow the top off any pursuit angle no matter if you Jet sweep him, motion him into a screen, or just line him up in the pistol or offset him into a zone run attack. At only 5’5 the nickname “The Blur” only happens if you see him. This kid knows how to use his size to his advantage by hiding behind blockers or stretching the defense then putting his foot in the ground to use his 4.4 speed to reach pay dirt. I hope he gets an opportunity to hone his return skills because he can flip the field during the game very quickly.

showed up at the Future Stars Camp on Sunday and displayed the amazing speed that landed him the Cornhuskers offer as just an eighth grader. Noah is everything a college is looking for in a scat back or slot, in today’s spread offenses. He has great vision, balance and understands how to put his foot in the ground and get north and south. One slight crease, and the kid nicknamed “Blur” displays his purported 4.4 speed. On a wet day, on grass, at the Future Stars Camp, he still ran a 4.6.
