has a standout stat line to his name after two weeks of play. More all-around production and we might see Lion move out of the QB rankings and into the two-way “ATH” tier. This would likely boost his overall and positional ranking alike. The two-sport athlete boasts a 3.6 GPA. 88 passing yards out of a Top 50 2026 QB prospect isn’t cutting it, yet when you broaden the scope on all things Lion, you’d realize he’s entirely more useful and valuable when he isn’t handcuffed to a position. Toting the rock for nearly 100 yards, passing for nearly the same amount. A sack from his backer/DB position, tack on 4 tackles to boot. Excited to see his mid-season tape to learn more about the junior athlete, I’ll know for sure whether he’s set to climb out ranks.

is a true dual-threat quarterback for Laurel Highlands. He is equally as good at running as he is throwing the ball. As a thrower, he does an excellent job on designed plays to throw on the run. He will sprint out find an open receiver and deliver a good football. In the pocket, he does a good job of setting his feet and throwing a good ball. In the run game, he plays well. He is a dynamic runner who is hard to bring down. He is equally as good on designed run plays or when the play breaks down and he scrambles for big plays. Lion is a playmaker at quarterback.

goes beyond three minutes or so. First rep has Lion delivering a rocket on a corner route after absorbing a hit in the pocket, pass would go for a score. Carries/positions the ball low, often times at his belly button while in the pocket. Ball drops when on the run as well. Great awareness of all things around him. I get the feeling he has good field sense working out of shotgun, on the move as well. Is a threat to run with the football, whether it be impromptu or not. Good build, said build doesn’t have him shying away from hits, he’s a tough kid. Accurate, on time, great vision of his targets inside of 15 yards. Unafriad to hit open but contested hitches, curls, and slants inside of 15 yards. Have him work his reads in the intermediate areas, have him utilize his legs on sprint-outs or in veer/read-option sets. He places inside the Top 400.

Noah is a QB who’s not scared to pull the ball down and scramble under pressure. Lion’s athleticism applies pressure to defenses when he runs the zone read. He does a good job of getting the ball out of his hands quickly on deep passes. He is a tough player who threw 3 TDs last week in his season-opening victory. Lion will have his hands full with BV’s secondary especially
